Submission Guidelines
Zygote's Areas of Interest
This is Zygote's first year, and the publication of future books depends primarily
on the success of our pilot project. Therefore, we are not considering any submissions
at this point. However, defining our area of interest is an extremely important
part of building this company. If all things go according to plan we will be
considering manuscripts in the following subject areas beginning in 2005, so
remember us and start considering a submission in:
Literary fiction.
Literary science fiction.
Engaging Poetry.
The occasional haiku.
Interesting cross-genre work.
Submissions should include:
* a one page covering letter which includes a fifty word description of your
work, a fifty word description of yourself and a fifty word point of interest
about you and / or your work that would possibly serve to sell many copies of
your work through various unique promotions
* a one page biography
* a short 2 - 10 page synopsis of the work
* a sample (twenty-five pages).
We hope to be able to accept submissions as soon as possible. Thank you for
